Intro
The society was founded in 1973 and is a member of N.A.F.A.C. We have two qualified junior coaches and a child protection policy. Taster days/coaching sessions available for youth groups and organisations.
Wheel-chair access on Broadley Wood and a double disabled platform has now been constructed on the main lake at Lane Head. NO CLOSED SEASON.

Monthly meetings are held at Whitworth Football & Cricket Club, Rostron Street, off Tong Lane, Whitworth at 8.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

CURRENT MEMBERS ARE REMINDED THAT SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR 2006 ARE NOW DUE.THE NEXT MEETING IS ON TUESDAY 2nd MAY FROM 7.30 PM ONWARDS. ALL MEMBERS MUST NOW HOLD A 2006 YEAR CARD TO FISH CLUB WATERS.
NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME AND WILL NEED TO BRING A PASSPORT SIZED PHOTOGRAPH.A BLUE BADGE OR ROD LICENSE WILL BE REQUIRED AS PROOF FOR DISABLED MEMBERSHIP.
THE MAIN LAKE AT LANE HEAD HAS BEEN STOCKED WITH 200 LB OF BREAM AND 1000 TENCH FOR THE STOCK POND.
THERE WILL BE NINE JUNIOR MATCHES ON THE CALENDAR THIS YEAR AND THE SENIOR WINTER LEAGUE HAS BEEN INCREASED TO FIVE MATCHES.
