Post - 16 Dress
Being part of M6 is a fantastic opportunity to be successful in progressing your learning and opening doors for you in Higher Education and employment. We think how you dress for learning is an important factor in how you approach your studies. At the same time we also recognise that young people like to express a sense of individuality.
We expect students to be clean, tidy and respectfully dressed, and reserve the right to decide what constitutes reasonable limits in these matters.
Travel
For some students there will be the need to travel between two or more of the four institutions at some point each week. All are within two miles of each other and transport will be provided to enable students to move between sites. We hope to make use of investment in wireless technology across the Partnership to ensure students can stay in touch with their learning when they have to travel.
Lunchtime Arrangements
All four institutions provide a high standard of catering facilities and depending on where you will be taught on any given day you will be able to access the catering facilities on site.
Education Beyond the Classroom
In the vast majority of courses, learning is enhanced and experience is gained from a whole range of visits and excursions. Field courses, exhibitions, conferences and seminars form part of an enrichment strategy aimed at broadening horizons and improving grades.
