Everybody get ready for the BIG CLEAN!
We are this week launching the biggest ever effort to make the Borough look sparkling! We have listened to our residents and they tell us that the cleanliness of our communities is a number one priority. So the Lib Dems put in an extra £100,000 in the budget to pay for improving our public spaces.
We want you to nominate an area, which you think would benefit from a makeover.
It's not our priorities as councillors - it's your priorities as residents.
There will be nomination forms all over our towns now but you can also just get in touch with me (wera.hobhouse@rochdale.gov.uk) and I will get a form sent out to you.
The actual clean-up and makeover of your chosen areas will take place in Spring 2009!
