Football club bid to buy rugby club's ground shares

Rochdale Football Club has made a without prejudice bid to buy Rochdale Hornets' shares in Denehurst Park Limited, the Stadium Company that owns Rochdale Football Club.

It is understood by the football club that Hornets will give the offer serious consideration.

The football club have announced that this financial offer will have no impact on the budget of the team manager and his playing staff as the deal would be financed seperately.

At this early stage Rochdale Hornets have not made any comment about any bid to buy their shares in the Stadium Company.
